As an existing Gateway Home Loan borrower, if you’re looking to increase your home loan up to $150,000 and your LVR remains under 80%, we will only need the following information to support your application:

  • Proof of Income
  • Details of any debts that are being refinanced

If you do nothing your loan will automatically convert to the default variable interest rate product. Alternatively, you can choose from the following options:

  • Opt for a new fixed interest period of 1,2,3 or 5 years
  • Switch into one of our variable rate options, or
  • Do nothing as detailed above


In order to make these changes you can:

  • Wait for us to contact you at the end of the fixed rate term,
  • Complete the Home Loan Variation Application Form online. Once submitted, we will review your request and complete the changes requested upon expiry of your current fixed interest period.
  • Contact us to discuss your options with one of our lending specialists.

A month before your interest only period on your home loan is due to expire, we will contact you advising of the expiry date and the options available to you.
